Guests at Marula Lodge, South Luangwe, Zambia enjoyed their tea and toast with a family of elephants wandering through and enjoying a bite to eat and generally making a mess along the way.

Although near the end you hear a guest proclaim “they cant see you if you don’t talk or move” be assured they are not T Rex’s and this is not Jurassic Park, these elephants would have been fully aware of the stunned tourists, but in no way threatened basically took no notice of them.



It’s not the first time Marula Lodge has played host to visiting elephants with this spectacular footage of two visiting the bar for an evening gin and tonic. Again the lack of threat to these massive animals meant they did what they planned to do without a fuss and left when they were finished – after finishing their drinks of course
